A look at what is happening in local hoops.
613 Development Program (Boys/Girls)
The future of local basketball is here. 613 University is proud to offer a unique development program for young athletes looking to take their game to the next level. Our 613 Development Program (613 D.P.) will be geared towards those who are looking for 'More Reps' in addition to existing club and high school programs.
613 D.P.adopts a game focused approach to player training and team building. We provide our athletes with offensive and defensive philosophies to help them excel in future competitions. The systems we teach are consistent with those that we utilize in our 613 Spiders AAU program. This approach allows our players to transition seamlessly to our AAU tournaments and competitions.
We will have weekly sessions for girls (grades 9 through 12) on Wednesday nights 8PM-10PM at Quinte Christian and separate weekly sessions for boys (grades 9 through 12) on Monday nights 8PM-10PM at Quinte Christian. This program will be offered in two phases. Phase One will run September to December and Phase Two will run January to June.
To register for Phase One (September - December) of the GIRLS 613.D.P. please complete this form.

CHB Small Group Training
Caleb Hugh Basketball (CHB) is dedicated to providing more opportunities for athletes to play. Whether it be basketball camps, individual training, competitive leagues, travel teams, or recreational games we offer it all.
Our goal is to raise the level of basketball talent in our community so our athletes are more capable of competing at the post secondary level.
The passion we have for the game of basketball is what drives our brand. Being in the gym, or on the court, is our favourite place to be and we want our clients to feel that same love for hoops.
"CHB puts #LoveSweatAndTears into everything we do because the #BallDontLie"
- Caleb Hugh (founder)
Coach Caleb Hugh has a wealth of basketball experience as a player, mentor, coach, and trainer. Growing up in the community he is aware of the many challenges our athletes face in our region.
Caleb not only played post secondary basketball (OCAA - Loyalist Lancers) he also has coached at the college level for 6 years. In addition to coaching both sides of the OCAA (Men and Women) he has over 10 years of experience coaching local area high school teams, both girls and boys.
When it comes to player training, CHB has a unique approach due in part to his Coach oriented training practices. Most trainers focus primarily on the individuals physical skills and offensive game. CHB provides player specific training within the constructs of a team setting. We help players identify, establish, and dominate their role as it would be in 5 on 5 basketball. We develop our clients decision making skills to improve their feel for the game.
