Pango's & Olynyk look to lead #1 Zags to Final Four.
NCAA CANADIAN PRIDE:
There was plenty to be excited about in last years NCAA March Madness Tournament from a Canadians perspective. Kris Joseph was playing for the #1 ranked Syracuse team, Kevin Pangos & Robert Sacre formed a solid pair for Gonzaga, Brady Heslips clutch shooting helped Baylor make a deep run, and small school star Andrew Nicholson led St. Bonaventure to a first round upset victory. This year is no different as much more excitement awaits. Returning to action (this time as a #1 seed!) Kevin Pangos and the Zags are looking stronger than ever thanks greatly to fellow Canadian Kelly Olynyk's incredible season. Brady Heslip's Baylor Bears won't be dancing this year but Michigans Nik Stauskas looks to play similar role as the sharpshooter on super talented team. UNLV's Anthony Bennett reminds many scouts of a young Larry Johnson and should be a Top 10 pick this June. Bryson Johnson, Senior Guard from Nova Scotia, set Bucknell school records for 3PT shooting. Junior Cadougan provides excellent leadership and toughness on competitive # 3 seeded Marquette team. There are also plenty of other Canadians playing vital roles on good teams like; Creighton, Iowa St, Missouri, Villanova, Saint Louis. Stay tuned as these crazy Canucks try to add to the Madness (click Read More)

Larkin led "the U" to best season in years.
Friday's schedule (16 Games) ALL GAMETIMES ARE 1 HOUR LATE (Example: 1:15pm is actually 12:15pm)
1:15pm Albany #15 vs Duke #2 - Coach K should have no trouble advancing this season as Albany doesn't have a player like Lehighs CJ McCollum on their roster. (See last year)
1:40pm Ole Miss #12 vs Wisconsin - Marshall "Mathers" Henderson's approach to competition reminds me of Grevais Vasquez however Coach Bo Ryan is too good of a coach and the Badgers should prevail.
2:40pm Temple #9 vs. NC State #8 - NC State has plenty of talent but Temples Khalif Wyatt is one of the nations best all around players. Toss Up.
3:10pm Pacific #15 vs Miami #2 - The U's dream season should continue deep into the dance thanks to G Shane Larkin and his supporting cast. Jump on the bandwagon!
3:45pm Cincinnati #10 vs. Creighton #7 - (MATCHUP OF THE DAY) Creighton looks to teach Cincinnati "how to Dougie" as McDermott has NBA scoring ability.
4:10pm TBD # 13 vs. Kansas State #4 - McGruder and Rodriguez have the toughness to advance the Wildcats to the Sweet 16. Winner of La Salle/Boise St. shouldn't be much threat.
5:10pm TBD #16 vs. Indiana - Hoosiers have talent at every position as well as the top 2 players at their perspective positions with Oladipo and Zeller.
5:40pm Colorado #10 vs. Illinois #7 - Two great individual players, Roberson (COL) and Paul (ILL), should make for a great contest.
7:50pm Florida Gulf Coast #15 vs. Georgetown #2 - (Upset Alert) FGCU has played some tough teams this season and Georgetown has been inconsistent. Don't expect Georgetown to lose however don't be suprised if this one is close in the final minutes.
8:15pm Iona #15 vs. Ohio State #2 - Classic David vs Goliath matchup. Ohio State should breeze to the Sweet 16.
8:20pm Villanova #9 vs. North Carolina #8 - Not the strongest class for either Jay Wright or Roy Williams this season. Whoever wins should fall in the next round.
8:27pm Northwestern State #14 vs. Florida - Billy Donovan's Gators have enough talent up front and in their backcourt to make a run to the Final Fourt.
10:20pm Oklahoma #10 vs. San Diego State #7 - Coach Steve Fisher's San Diego State squad may not have the potential of his famed Fab Five team but G Jamaal Franklin is an NBAer and has some good players around him.
10:45pm Iowa State #10 vs. Notre Dame #7 - I love Fred Hoiberg as a coach but he needs Korie Lucious to break out of his slump to advance to the next round.
10:50pm Western Kentucky #16 vs. Kansas #1 - Macklemore, Whithey, Johnson, and now Perry Ellis should lead Kansas to another Final Four.
10:57pm Minnesota #11 vs. UCLA - Tubby Smith doesn't coach the most exciting brand of basketball but it should be enough to upset injury weakend UCLA. PTW: Shabazz Muhammad UCLA future Lottery Pick
1:15pm Albany #15 vs Duke #2 - Coach K should have no trouble advancing this season as Albany doesn't have a player like Lehighs CJ McCollum on their roster. (See last year)

Nate Wolters looks to add to his mythical career.
Small School Gems & Cinderella Candidates:
Looking for that small school team to lead you to big pool money? Look no further. These teams (and their stars) could surprise some unsuspecting big conference schools.
South Dakota State University: If Nate Wolters walked into a pick up game I'd probably think I could guard him. So plain and simple looking it's amazing - also amazing is his game. Top 3 scorer in NCAA shouldn't be overlooked.
Creighton: While playing for his dad Doug McDermott has become one of the most versatile offense weapons in the NCAA. Somewhat unorthodox in his methods McDermott can score from anywhere on the court. Also has a decent enough supporting cast around him to reach the Sweet 16 with some luck.
St. Marys: Austrailian Guard M. Delledova is the type of player the NCAA Tournament loves. After beating Middle Tennesse State in one of the play-in games this shooter could easily drop 30 and sneak his team to another round.
Colorado St: Played well versus tough competition this season. With a senior heavy roster and an effective inside-outside combo of Colton Iverson and Wes Eiekmeier the Rams shouldn't be taken lightly.
Other Potential Cinderellas: Bucknell, Iowa St, Minnesota, Montana, San Diego State, UNLV, VCU, Wichita Stata
