Happy Sunday!
- Six One Three Staff will be attending Sunday's game at the Ralph hoping to see a Bills victory following the tough loss last week at the Jets. Where has C.J. Spiller been this season? Bills offense is in desperate need of some big plays and Spiller was supposed to be the guy making them. Look for the young Bills offense to look a little more relaxed this week but handling the Ravens pressure defense will be the critical factor.
- Ravens come off a big upset win shutting down the powerful Texans last week. They are not as bad as their week 1 loss showed - however they may not be as strong as they looked vs. Houston. Expect Ravens defense to force this into a low scoring game with Flacco doing enough against the Bills make-shift secondary to get the W despite his teams offensive struggles.
- Being up close and personal to Sunday's action in Buffalo should be interesting as Bills should play better than they did this past week and Ravens look to show they are still a force to be reckoned with in the AFC
- Players to watch: E.J. Manuel. C.J. Spiller, Bernard Pierce
BEARS @ LIONS
- Lions head into this big divisional match-up in need of a win to establish themselves as contenders in the NFC. Seems like the same story as last year so far this season in Detriot - inconsistency despite having good talent. Reggie Bush needs to get healthy, with him in the game their offense is as dangerous as any. Rumours of a trade offer to Cleveland for WR Josh Gordon indicate the Lions are keen on making the playoffs and realize they still need help outside of Megatron.
- Jay Cutler and the Bears defense once again have started the season off very well. Forcing turnovers and scoring TD's is still the trademark of this Chicago squad but the offense has impressed in the first few weeks as well. Cutler, Forte, and Marshall shouldn't be slowed much by the Lions defense so look for Chi-Town to continue to put up points.
- Detroit needs this win more than the Bears right now and they will need to take advantage of the the extra motivation this week. Chicagos defense alone will make this a hard contest for the Lions so it'll be on the defense's shoulders to limit Cutlers and the Bears offense.
- Players to watch: Reggie Bush, Alshon Jeffery, Charles Tillman
