SAINTS @ BEARS:
Happy Sunday!
- The New Orleans Saints are on a warpath right now. Happy to have their general Sean Payton on the sidelines the Saints seem like the class of the NFC. How about that defense? Completely dismantling the Dolphins on MNF showed that with Bree's, Sproles, and J. Graham they are as good as any offense in the league (and yes that includes the Broncos). The short passing game to Sproles basically acts as their rushing attack making them balanced enough to cause problems for any defense.
- The Bears performance once again has the league talking about Jay Cutlers potential to be a SB quarterback and the improvements on the O-Line. Although new additions; Bushrod, and rookie Kyle Long have helped protect Cutler better so far this season there is still plenty of growth needed from this offense. Mad scientist Marc Trestman needs to continue experimenting in the Bears laboratory for the team chemistry to carry forward.
- Saints may be the popular pick with the way they have been playing on both sides of the ball lately however they better not look past a tough Bears defense at home. Saints should win unless Mr. Cutler takes another step forward, overcomes adversity, and beats elite QB Drew Brees.
- Players to watch: Darren Sproles, Charles Tillman, Alshon Jeffery
Happy Sunday!
